Revolver Melbourne invited some members of the Melbourne Lettering Club to exhibit our work at an exhibition. Always exciting and welcome!
I used this as an opportunity to try out my new favourite thing which is lettering on mirrors, windows and other surfaces that can be wiped clean. Instead of spending hours going over the fine details and making things perfect, I find that I love an IMperfect style of lettering.
I felt a bit of an imposter at this exhibition because all the other works were so perfect and lovely, but this is my true style. And so I am proud of myself for sticking with it. I even found some people take photos of themselves in front of the mirror and posting them, which I LOVED!
